Fan Club Comes to Lawrence
Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 06:00PM Bad Habit brought quite the fan club to Lawrence, KS, this afternoon for the team's first pull with Renegade Pullers. Friends and family came out to see what our tractor could really do, and they got quite a show!
After dropping a few pounds early in the morning, the tractor was shined up and ready to go at the 1 p.m. pull. Chris was first to run it in the 1350 4-cylinder class. He pulled 254 ft. - enough to beat last night's pull and grab first place. Matt was second to pull in the 1450 4-cylinder class where he took second with 219.28 ft. The team was invited to pull in the higher-weight V8 class, and Chris was quick to jump in. He pulled the sled out of the gate and snagged first place in the class! He pulled 262.9 ft. and was ready to head out of town, but the sled operator stopped him.
Not a bad day for our second time in the dirt!

It was a dusty, dirty day at the track, but it was well worth it! Way to go guys! Not only is it awesome to actually see that thing run, but you've already had some awesome pulls!
